ONLY 6% OF EMPLOYERS believe that the government’s stated policy of supporting quality workplace pensions is working, according to a survey1 conducted by the Association of Consulting Actuaries (ACA). This is down 32 percentage points from two years ago and the ACA uses this lack of confidence to call for the establishment of a standing Pensions Commission to remove the hurdles that, it believes, prevent the introduction of sensible longterm pensions designs.
