BALANCED POOLED FUNDS REGAINED MUCH OF THE GROUND LOST IN 2008 WITH STRONG PERFORMANCE LAST YEAR. AS A RESULT, ALLOCATIONS TO EQUITIES INCREASED, WHILE HOLDINGS IN BONDS AND CASH WERE REDUCED.
